Welcome to Aveiro – Marta's hometown, and one of Portugal's best-kept secrets.Think small canals, salt lagoons, endless dunes, and Atlantic waves for the brave souls who fancy a surf. Since most of you are travelling from abroad, we didn't want to just host a wedding and send you on your way.
We've put together a few days of fun so you can soak it all in, meet familiar and not-so-familiar faces, and make a proper trip out of it.
None of it is mandatory (except for the Wedding) – join what works for you, skip what doesn't, no hard feelings whatsoever.
THU 24 JUNE
WELCOME DRINKS

Join us in the heart of Aveiro for a Welcome drink* (or a few) to start the weekend celebrations. We're meeting for easy conversation, some laughs, and a chance to put faces to names before everyone is dressed up and emotional on the Wedding Day. Consider it a warm-up — location and time to be confirmed once we know how many people are joining after RSVPs close
*Each person covers their own drinks.
Optional Attendance: no pressure at all! This one's for those coming early, making a holiday of it, or simply wanting to get to know the area before the big day.
FRI 25 JUNE
BEACH DAY AT
SÉTIMO BEACH CLUB

If you don't have any plans and want to spend some time with us before the big day, come join us for a day at the beach. We'll have our own little setup! Sétimo Beach Club is your landmark for finding us, we will be near it.
We're gathering around 11:00. Come for a swim in the Atlantic (if you can handle the cold water), a long walk along the dunes, or just some quality time with card games and a beach ball. Bring your swimsuit, plenty of sunscreen, and your beach towel.
If you want to make a full day of it, we'd recommend booking a table at the beach club in advance for lunch or dinner at sunset (depending how long you'll want to stay). Food and drinks are pretty standard pricing, around €15–30 per person.

Come help us eat the leftovers and squeeze the last bit of magic out of the long weekend. We'll wrap up these days of togetherness with a relaxed Picnic — location and time to be confirmed once we know how many people are joining after RSVPs close (might be at my parent's place, might be a picnic at the beach, might be at the park).
Optional Attendance: no pressure at all! This one's for those who aren't quite ready to go home yet. We get it.
